sneak preview + doughy cookies, felt and chunky ceramic...

ben's cookies polaroid with orange glass
this weekend just past involved a massive plate of ben's super doughy cookies...a divine chocolate selection of choc chip, double choc chip, and triple choc chip (all R's selection) with perfectly doughy centres, crisp crunchy edges and generous chocolate chunks...if you are ever in the city of bath i THOROUGHLY recommend stopping by and grabbing yourself a large mug of earl grey and a warm cookie, sitting outside in the small but charming alleyway and watching the bath citizens stroll by...but, if you are not near bath these delicious cookies are also available in a few select locations (including egypt!) aaaaaaand you can buy them online.

following the cookie and tea devouring i started work on two new pieces...here is a sneak peek of some new pieces i've been working on which encompass my love of chartreuse and chunky ceramic beads.....

hope you also had a weekend filled with cookies, tea and crafts!

Your work is absolutely lovely. For me, green is a neutral color. For mother nature it is too. :) I went to the cookie site and they only ship withi England. HUGELY disappointing on the hand; on the other hand, your blog is going to be really fun for me because you'll be sending me all over the internet!

Ah! I'm excited about your new pieces! I love the different hues of green in the first one.

thanks quixsa! greens are one of my favourite shades, it also one of the only bright colours that seem to match my skin tone so i love working with it and wearing it! gonna make up some more colour shades soon - ooh i think i have my new line forming!

I like that (felt?) necklace! Or is it the start of something else? I've never seen a felt necklace before!

Do cookies really go with Earl Grey tea though? Isn't it a bit... fragrant?

Your description of said cookies actually made me dribble a little though (I have some excess saliva at the best of times, but now... well...)

GUGAW said...

yes it's felt and yup it'll be a necklace/choker. i can see what you mean about fragrant, and to be honest my tea of choice is chai. but, it is a moment of taste overdose to be enjoyed!
