seizethedavei know that views on these little beasties are mixed, but i think squirrels are adorable! i love their cheeky faces and cheeky ways...and my last house we had a little fella who would sit on the doorstep and poke his head around the front door when it was open, though he never did quite have the courage to venture inside...
there are some awesome squirrel shots over on flickr which i've popped here, like the little baby squirrel below - how sweet!

mikeworldthese super closeups from mikeworld are awesome, and cleverly taken by tricking greedy squirrels to come up close by attaching hazelnuts to the camera. love the grotty yellow teeth, reminds me of my (now dead) little hammie 'hazel', 'cept with a much bushier tail!

oh this post is fabulous (i'm loving those top photos). one of my pets went to a vet once that had a pet squirrel and he would just climb on up and sit on your shoulder! they domesticate pretty easily apparently.
thanks! the photos are fab aren't they, would love to get a shot like that. and funnily enough, squirrel pets seems to be quite popular, what with that link i found at the end of the post!
So cool... my partner feeds the squirrels, on account of htem eating the bird food if not. But hey make us smile too!
i'd happily feed the squirrels, foxes, badgers, hedgehogs......wonder if the neighbours are as happy!
