mint
so, hopefully we have a new flat....i'm crossing fingers, toes, legs and everything else that is bendy that we actually get to move into this one! it's a sweet little two up two down, but as with most new-builds, it is a little lacking in character. so, my aim is to inject some homeliness into the blank canvas of white walls and beige carpets - for the bedroom i want to try and translate this etsy treasury i made a few months ago into some interior design ideas:
if you have any suggestions, do let me know!

a not so picturesque view
for the first time in weeks, i've sat myself down and made some new jewellery designs. unfortunately i've had to take a little rest from making new pieces whilst i try to move house....well, now trying to find a house to move into after being horribly let down just days before moving - eek!
but, so glad i took time out from house hunting as i'm really pleased with the new designs...lots of yummy silver in lovely organic shapes teamed with labradorite, citrine and lilac coloured sage amethyst. what with camera being broke (which insurance company have agreed to replace, yey!) there are no piccies just yet, but will definately be listing on etsy asap.

in the meantime thought i would share my discoveries around window film...the flat i was planning on moving into had some pretty grotty views, so not fancying lacy nets, i searched for some alternatives. window film seems like a fab idea - stick on, peel off - perfect when renting but wanting to decorate your home. I really like the vintage feel of emma jeff's lace window film below, and you can order samples of the designs for just £3!
i also stumbled across brume who do some fab window spotty and leaf window films:
but my absolute fave is by strossel design, not only is the view cute, but i can also pretend to unsuspecting guests that i am fabulously green fingered!

do let me know if you've had any experiences with window film - i'm hoping they are as removable as claimed!
